At the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, carpet made with Niaga® Technology was displayed in the Conference Rooms of the UN  World Food Programme (WFP).

The carpet has been manufactured by DSM-Niaga (Netherlands) together with EGE (Denmark) and is made from polyamide and polyester, using the Niaga® Technology. Aiming at using the world's scarce resources in the best possible way, it can be turned back for 100% into its original materials and be reused, again and again.

WPF has a partnership with DSM to combat hunger and malnutrition. The image represents the WFP Hunger map 2015 that provides invaluable information that helps school teachers and children learn more about hunger in the world. From Africa and Asia to Latin America and the Near East, there are 795 million people who do not get enough food to lead a normal, active life.
